Dr. Cwikla - Biography
Dr. Cwikla is a Florida native, earning her Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Miami. She then attended Illinois College of Optometry where she became a student fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and was selected to join Beta Sigma Kappa and the Tomb and Key Honor Society. Her training included rotations at William V. Chappell, Jr. Veterans Outpatient clinic in Daytona Beach, FL, Wyomissing Optometric Center in Wyomissing, PA and Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Dr. Cwikla is a certified optometrist in Florida and a member of both the Florida and American Optometric Associations. She has a special interest in pediatric optometry and ocular surface disease, including dry eye disease.
She enjoys giving back to her community through vision programs like InfantSee, which provides free eye exams to children between 6-12 months old. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, scuba diving, and cuddling with her dog, Riley.
