Dr. Julie Wright, O.D. - Biography
Dr. Julie Wright has been proudly serving the eye care needs of Camden County for over 28 years. A native of Saint Marys, she began her optometric career in 1997 at Coastal Vision Center. In 2003, she opened her own successful private practice, Wright Eye Care, where she continued to care for the community until rejoining Coastal Vision Center in June 2025.
Dr. Wright values the unique opportunity that small-town practice provides—forming long-lasting relationships with patients while delivering exceptional eye care. She considers it a true blessing to have spent her entire professional career in her hometown.
Dr. Wright earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1992 and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1997. She is board-certified by the American Board of Optometry.
Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive eye exams, contact lens evaluations, cataract post-operative care, emergency eye care, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases.
Outside the office, Dr. Wright enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Her hobbies include camping, motorcycle riding, swimming, and target shooting.
