Dr. Colin Milo - Biography

Dr. Colin Milo is a Northeast Florida native who grew up in St. Johns county and attended The Bolles School. Dr. Milo graduated from the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Milo then attended Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and completed his Doctor of Optometry.

During his clinical rotations, Dr. Milo traveled to Bethel, Alaska, to treat Native Alaskans at an Indian Health Services hospital, as well as in remote villages accessible only by bush plane. His last rotation brought him “home” to Coastal Vision Center in Fernandina.

Dr. Milo delivers primary eye care - including comprehensive and diabetic eye exams, fitting contact lenses, pre/post surgical care, and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts and dry eye. Dr. Milo is committed to the delivery of high quality and patient-focused care. In his spare time, Dr. Milo enjoys watching Jaguars and Gator football, coaching local youth/ high school lacrosse, finding sharks teeth on the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
