Dr. Capritta Roberts - Biography
Dr. Capritta Roberts joined Coastal Vision Center in July of 2020 and is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine with a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease from the University of Minnesota.
In addition to general ophthalmology, she specializes in complex cataract surgery, including scleral fixated lens placement, refractive cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, including Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty, medical and surgical care of the cornea and ocular surface, including dry eye disease and conjunctival chalasis, pterygium excision, keratoconus and limbal stem cell transplantation.
Dr. Roberts provides compassionate care by spending time and energy to communicate effectively and provide education for her patients. She grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and now calls Amelia Island her home. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with her dog, Roux. We are all so happy to have her as an integral member of the Coastal Vision Center family!
