Meet Dr. Alana Jasper-Trotter, M.D.
There’s nothing more important than for you to feel comfortable and confident with your choice. Dr. Jasper-Trotter has exceptional credentials and specialized training that affirms you’re in good hands as she graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in Biology and African-American Studies. From there, Dr. Jasper-Trotter graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then completed a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery in North Carolina.
Dr. Jasper-Trotter is a classically-trained ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic surgery. Her primary interests include ptosis, blepharoplasty, chalazions and other eyelid lesions, eyelid trauma, Mohs reconstruction, botulinum injections (e.g. Botox®), and other eyelid procedures.
The delicate features around our eyes use the most subtle shapes and movements to create our expressions, communicate emotions and identify the way we feel about ourselves. These features require a specialist with extensive training, uncommon experience and an artisan’s eye. Dr. Alana-Jasper-Trotter, a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, is that specialist.
